Weather - Dry with light wind

 

Base line readings – Ion, EMF and Temperature were measured with only one anomaly being found. Whilst Eleanor was taking Ion measurements the meter display was going from minimum to maximum and back, it would not settle when it was held over a certain chair. Kev took the photograph below at the time the base line readings were being taken. Sue was going round with her trusty video camera and felt several cold spots especially in ladies toilet. Sue’s camera appeared to be turned off whilst placed in the cupboard above where DJ’s booth is in the nightclub area.

Both Eleanor and Kev saw that Chris was being followed by a girl of about 18 years of age who seemed to be from the 1970’s wearing very short hot pants and giving an EMF reading of slightly above 0.5.

The following spirits appeared to make contact during the séance: - a man named George Sinenetow, a 12 year old girl, the 18 year of girl who was following Chris, a little boy named Billy who is still waiting for his mum because his dad said she was coming to get him. Billy loves to stroke hair, which was felt by several of the sitters. He died whilst he was climbing up a chimney and got his trousers caught, in around the early 1800’s. The 12-year-old girl was called Claire or Clara, she was standing behind one of the sitters where an EMF reading of 0.5 was measured. She told the sitters she likes to look after Billy.

Séance two

4.22 Baseline temperature of 15.5 degrees at the start of the séance

4.33 The temperature around table dropped to13 fluctuating up to 17 under the table. A slight knock on table was heard by several of the sitters.

4.34 The silver cross that was placed on the table appeared to be moving slightly. This was noted by two of the guests

Henry who was a rapist and child molester claimed to have been hung for crime, showed himself to Eleanor whose arm was visibly shaking.

4.45 The temperature dropped to 12.5 degrees

Another spirit came through, he was same class and sort as Henry. He said he had arrived earlier with a customer and had decided to stay. He kept putting his hand on and pushing several of the female participant’s right shoulders.

4.56 The temperature dropped to 11.5 degrees

The second man who was apparently a friend of Henry’s claimed to have been hung by a lynch mob and that it took 20 of them to take him down. He claimed he was lynched near the Appleby, which at the time was a farmhouse. The mob hung him up on a tree near to where he used to go to do his deeds and he also said he killed a woman at the farmhouse. Henry’s friend appeared at the Appleby during a previous investigation were going round the circle. He and Henry were moving around the circle poking and prodding the sitters.

A man nickname ROSS from around 1960 who had a skull and cross bone tattooed on his arm with ROSS underneath and connected to the Wheat Sheaf also made contact.

A girl believed to be called Clara or Claire was on the outside of the circle, she was pregnant when she died but was not far into her pregnancy. She would not come anywhere near because she was frightened of the Henry and his friend.

A 12 year old girl came through with Billy she is believed to be called Eliza or Liz, she died of the plague and claims to have been buried in the memorial gardens.

To try and get Henry to show himself, Chris placed a mirror on the table so that some of the sitters could try their hand at scrying.

5.43 The temperature around the table fluctuated between each chair from 13 to 14 degrees, as one of the entities appeared to be moving around the circle.

5.46 The temperature dropped a further 1.5 degrees to 11.5. 

5.46 After hearing something moving on the floor, a red nose was found. It was not been noted before the séance, perhaps it may have been a gift left by one of the children? The session was bought to a close and we concluded the night’s investigation.
