Guided Tour

We arrived at the location around 10:30 and were greeted by Scott, he advised us the Val the landlady was upstairs resting in preparation for the night’s events. Around 11:30 Val came down and took us on a guided tour of the building, pointing out the areas where activity had been noticed. There is a small attic room of the living room and Eleanor picked up the energy of a small boy who seemed to be trapped, the following photograph was taken and an orb is clearly visible. We returned to the main bar area and decided to set up a camera in the no smoking lounge where activity has been experienced behind the bar and audio recorders in the upstairs corridor as footsteps have often been heard there. As we were setting the equipment we were informed that Val was feeling unwell and had gone upstairs to lie on her bed for a while.

Séance

Start time 12:39 am

Room temp 21.5° there was no EMF registering

The sitters were Scott, Eleanor, Susie, Sue, P.J, Gavin & Trish with Chris and Paul taking meter readings on the outside of the circle.

During the séance Eleanor picked up on several spirits a very small child the name of Sean with a connection to Ireland and older lady who loved and worked in the property, this lady died suddenly of cancer and only knew the current residents as customers not as landlords. The name Sean meant something to Scott and some of the details that Eleanor mentioned were confirmed as correct however as this was a personal message no further details will be reported here. The older lady claimed she was the person who played with the till in the no smoking bar which has been reported by several members of staff. As Scott was concerned about Val the séance was closed to enable him to go and check on her. He returned stating she seemed rather ill and was going to call for an ambulance we therefore decided to call it a night and rearrange the investigation for another night.

Glass Divination

We set up a board and glass on the pool table along with three Cell Sensor EMF meters one at either end of the bar and the third on the bench under the window. After the usual questions trying to ascertain who we were talking to a young male spirit was identified as a friend of one of the guests present. He seemed desperate to get a personal message through to the young man about a path he had chosen to travel and was trying to warn him. As the message was of a personal nature no further details will be divulged in this report. The strangest thing about the session is that every time the answer to a question was yes not only did the glass move but all three EMF meters were active but when the answer was no they were inactive and when the session was closed an Eleanor said thank you and goodnight all three meters stopped at exactly the same time.

Séance

After a break we decided to have a séance, Chris and Paul remained on the outside taking readings and everyone else sat in the circle. The session was slow to start but after a while several of the sitters could feel a cold draft around their hands and the EMF meter picked up a signal. The young male spirit who we had been talking to during the glass divination made his presence known, he was once again trying to get through to the young man, however, the young male sitter was frightened and said he had to go home. The séance was closed and we all took a short coffee break before resuming the session. We resumed the séance and almost immediately and older male made his presence felt by touching one of the sitters on the shoulder. He identified himself as having lived in the vicarage and claimed that he used to use the tunnel to move from one building to the other. He seemed to have and affinity for Val and wanted to stop her participating as she said she felt like she had the start of a migraine coming on. We also made contact with the former landlady who had been present during our first visit. Both Chris & Eleanor fell like they were trapped in a confined space and were having difficulty breathing. A young boy made contact and the feelings being picked up were his, he claimed to have been trapped in a chimney whilst trying to clean it. He said he regularly visited the location but was not trapped. The session went quiet we therefore closed the séance and after a conversation about what happened it was getting late so we decided to pack up our kit and call it a night.
