PLEASE
READ THE FOLLOWING AGREEMENT BEFORE APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP WITH ESSIVE
AGREEMENT
OF MEMBERSHIP
I
understand that as a Member I will receive confirmation of membership within 28
days of applying either through email, telephone call or a letter. I understand that as a member I will be entitled to take part
in certain ESSIVE events and that I will be wholly financially responsible for
my travel and food costs whilst participating.
I accept that ESSIVE are not responsible for my actions or any results
thereof whilst participating in any event.
I understand that ESSIVE has the right to suspend or revoke my
eligibility to participate in events if my actions dictate that it is necessary
to do so. I understand that it is
my responsibility to inform ESSIVE if I wish to participate in any event and
that I will not be automatically allocated a place.
I agree to be bound by all terms and conditions included in this
document. ANY ACTION WHICH
CONTRAVENES THIS AGREEMENT WILL AUTOMATICALLY REVOKE THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE
OFFENDER.
I
understand that I will not necessarily be permitted to participate in all Field
Investigations as in most cases only a limited number of places will be
available. Although some investigations may be bookable on a first come first
served basis, priority may be given to members who have been unsuccessful in
obtaining places on recent investigations. Should I find I am unable to attend a
Field Investigation onto which I am booked I will notify ESSIVE at the earliest
possible opportunity, so that a replacement team member may be sought. I
understand that failure to comply with the cancellation process may affect my
chances of attending future investigations.
I
understand that ESSIVE may be charged for the privilege of carrying out
Investigations at certain locations and should I obtain a place on such an
investigation, I agree that I will be liable for my share of the cost.
I agree that full payment for such events should be received by ESSIVE at
least 28 days prior to the investigation. If payment is not received by this
time I accept that my place may be offered to another team member. If a deposit
has been requested by the location owner and the place on the investigation
remains vacant I accept that I may be liable for the payment.
Participants may take video,
photographs and EVP during a Field Investigation but any material of interest
caught by a participant, including hand written notes must be shared with ESSIVE.
A participant who manages to catch possible evidence of the paranormal
during an ESSIVE Field Investigation should not publish, publicise or gain from
this evidence without the written permission of ESSIVE. Failure to comply at any
time in the future with this will result in cancellation of ESSIVE Membership. After being granted permission to publish, publicise or gain
from any evidence, reference must be given to ESSIVE.
I also assume responsibility for any and all damage caused by my property or myself during an event.
I
understand that under certain investigation conditions supposed paranormal
activity might be experienced which is frightening rather than fun and also that
paranormal activity cannot be guaranteed during an investigation. I have no
health conditions that could be affected by tension or fear and will not hold
ESSIVE responsible for and posttraumatic effects following or during the
investigation.
I
will abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the owners of the property
or their agents as well as those laid down by the organisers of the event.
I
agree that should I consume an excessive amount of alcohol or take
non-prescribed drugs that I will be asked to immediately leave the location.
By taking part in an ESSIVE
event the participant agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions stated
herein.
